I.M means ‘Irmãos Meirelles’. We’re brother and sister, born in São Paulo, Brazil.
Together as a duo, we have directed over 50 commercials for major brands such as Coca-Cola, Burger King, Nestlé, Free Fire, and others.
Our work has also been recognized at the Cannes Lions Festival, Young Director Award, Shots Awards, and Ciclope Latino. It’s also been highlighted at the Vimeo Staff Picks, Shots Showcase, Director’s Notes, and over 20 short film festivals worldwide.
We also work to demystify high-end productions and help other directors and production companies by sharing our experience through workshops, online courses, and mentoring programs.

A campanha “Late Night Stores” que dirigiram para o Burger King foi premiada com leão de bronze em “Film" no Cannes Lions 2021, além de ganhar Prata na mesma categoria no The One Show. Recentemente foram finalistas no SHOTS Awards, na categoria ‘New Director of the Year”, os únicos brasileiros na lista, e shortlist no tradicional YDA - Young Director Award - com “Operação Chrono”, curta que escreveram e dirigiram para o game Free Fire. O curta-metragem “Murayama” também recebeu destaque em algumas das principais publicações da área, como o shots.net, booooom.tv e director’s notes.

Marilia and Fabio Meirelles are siblings and film directors, acting under the pseudonym IM (Irmãos Meirelles). In addition to directing, they are screenwriters and editors in their own films.
